Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a skilled IT professional in the USA VA Arlington area to organize, install, and support government computer systems including LAN/WAN networks and related data communications. The role involves architectural input, hardware/software upgrade decisions, and day-to-day user support within SAP/SCI environments, with DoD agencies and security clearances.

The position requires Top Secret/SCI, with potential TS/SCI poly; 1+ year related experience;

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Must be able to obtain: TS/SCI with CI poly.

Responsibilities

• Operate day-to-day management and operations of systems and networks.
• Manage COTS & GOTS products to collect, display and remediate a variety of automated system security and system operations/performance functions and metrics.
• Follow O&M checklists to maintain the service; build TTPs and SOPs for service checklists.
• Operate monitoring tools with SIEM and create/tailor complex event alarms and reports.
• Assist in analyzing technical risk of emerging cybersecurity tools and processes.
• Work as part of a security incident response team as needed.
