Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site support for DoW networks and enclaves at a Virginia Beach location. You will perform hardware maintenance, software updates, and troubleshooting, supporting Tier 1 and 2 staff while implementing system management practices.

The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance, Security+ CE certification, and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience
• Security+ CE Certification required; DoD compliance 8570.01

Responsibilities

• Provide systems administrative support including Active Directory, SCCM, Exchange, information security, file shares, PKI and virus protection.
• Manage on-premise hardware and perform regular hardware and software updates.
• Install, repair and perform preventative maintenance of laptops, desktops and zero clients.
• Deliver technical support to Tier 1 & 2 support and participate in DoW network enclaves.
• Implement system management tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP).
