Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller / Network Engineer to support DoD network infrastructure at Scott AFB, IL, with opportunities in Pearl Harbor, HI. On-site role focusing on monitoring, troubleshooting, implementation, and activation while complying with DISA standards—ensuring mission-critical connectivity for warfighters and national leaders.

You will handle incident tickets, change requests, and coordination with DISA stakeholders, vendors, and operations teams in a 24/7

Qualifications

2+ years of network engineering, network operations, or NOC experience.
Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper routers and switches, LAN/WAN environments.
Knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VLANs, VRFs, VPNs, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and strong troubleshooting skills.
Active DoD security requirements: Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on a live global DoD network.
Configure, test, activate, and monitor network devices and services.
Manage incident tickets, service orders, and change requests with documented procedures.
Coordinate with customers, engineers, DISA stakeholders, vendors, and ops teams.
Support fault management, alarm surveillance, and service restoration in a 24/7 environment.
