Job summary

ITA International in Newport News, VA is seeking a Mid-Level Microsoft Cloud Architect to join our team in a hybrid role at Fort Eustis. You will design, implement, and sustain secure Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud solutions for DoD and federal environments, collaborating with senior architects, engineers, cybersecurity, and government stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cloud engineering, hands-on Azure/M365, RBAC, identity management, and experience with DoD standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years in cloud computing, systems engineering, or related field.
3+ years hands-on with Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365.
Experience designing or implementing cloud-based technical solutions.
Strong understanding of core Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, SQL).
Experience with RBAC, authentication, and least-privilege concepts.

Responsibilities

Support design and implementation of Microsoft cloud architectures for DoD mission requirements.
Develop architectures leveraging Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and related services.
Translate requirements into cloud-based technical solutions.
Create architecture diagrams, designs, specs, and implementation plans.
Support cloud modernization and migration initiatives.
Design integrations between Azure, 365, Power Platform and enterprise apps.
