Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. seeks a Journeyman Network Engineer to support EACN at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. This role provides Tier II network operations in a 24/7 environment and involves configuring LAN/WAN, monitoring, and maintaining security posture.

The candidate should have 3+ years of enterprise LAN/WAN experience, CCNA, and DoD 8140 readiness; active Secret clearance is required. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

Active, in-scope US Government Secret clearance.
3+ years of network administration or engineering experience.
DoD 8140 qualification requirements met or achievable.
CCNA certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Experience with LAN/WAN, monitoring, troubleshooting, and DISA STIGs.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier II network infrastructure support for EACN at JBLM.
Configure, implement, and support LAN/WAN infrastructure and data exchange.
Troubleshoot and upgrade classified and unclassified network equipment.
Maintain network security, monitoring, and analytics tools (SolarWinds, Splunk, ServiceNow).
Execute and report on STIG requirements and DoD tasking orders.
Coordinate with Government engineers and ISSM on compliance.
