Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC in JBLM is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to support the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN). You will oversee tier-2 network operations for critical DoD missions and on-site system installations at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD experience, CCNA/Network+ certifications, a Bachelor's degree, and 8 years of related work, including 5 years in DoD. Travel up to 10% and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with TS/SCI clearance and ability to maintain it.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Eight years of relevant experience, including five with DoD.
• Certifications: DoDD 8140.03, Network+ and CCNA.
• Location: JBLM, on-site; travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide Network Tier 2 support to critical DoD missions and aircraft systems.
• Configure, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure and tools.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and upgrade EACN networks.
• Ensure compliance with DISA/STIGs and security requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, installation, and cutover activities.
