Job summary

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government Secret clearance required.
• Required DoD 8140 Work Roles and Basic proficiency; higher is acceptable.
• Bachelor degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Current or achievable within six months: DoD IA baseline certification.
• US Citizenship required due to contract.
• 1+ year of IT support or network operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate network requirements with users, site personnel, and higher-tier engineering support.
• Perform system-administration tasks on Microsoft Active Directory networks.
• Operate SolarWinds and other gov tools for real-time monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Create, update, and verify incident tickets with details of actions taken and resolution.
• Support the Air Force Network Operations Center, AFCERT requirements.
• Assist with routine network checks, user coordination, documentation, escalation, and restoration of service.
• Maintain technical publications and accountability for assigned EACN equipment when designated.
