Job summary

KBR is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day IT operations supporting DoD programs. You will oversee technical teams, ensure operational readiness, and maintain service delivery in line with contractual and DoD standards.

You will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and program management to ensure excellence, compliance, and customer satisfaction in a demanding government-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II Certification and PMP.
• 15+ years of IT operations experience in a Federal Government environment.
• 10+ years in a senior IT management role for DoD/Federal programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily IT operations supporting enterprise and mission-critical systems.
• Oversee system administration, network operations, service desk, and support functions.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and workforce standards.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Government customers, program management, engineering teams, and subcontractors.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement process improvements.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and resource management.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to technical personnel.
