Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager (Contingency Hire) to lead daily IT operations supporting DoD programs.

You will oversee system administration, network operations, and service desk while ensuring compliance with DoD standards and contractual requirements. The role requires DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification, TS clearance, and a decade of IT operations and senior management experience in Federal Government settings.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II Certification required.
• Experience implementing DoD 8140.01 and DCWF frameworks.
• Minimum 10 years in IT operations within Federal Government or DoD context.
• Minimum 10 years in senior IT management roles overseeing enterprise IT services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily IT operations for enterprise and mission-critical systems.
• Oversee system administration, network operations, service desk, and support functions.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and contractual obligations.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, performance metrics, and resources.
• Coordinate with Government customers, program management, engineering, and subcontractors.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and drive process improvements.
• Support planning, budgeting, reporting, and operational governance.
• Provide leadership and professional development for technical personnel.
