Job summary

Veterans First Initiative LLC (VFI) is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support the 17th Training Group with IT asset management, ensuring accountability, proper storage, and compliance with Air Force policies.

The role emphasizes data accuracy in ServiceNow ITRMS, asset movement coordination, and adherence to DoD regulations, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Active TS/SCI DoD Security clearance.
• At least one year of relevant experience in military, government, or civilian roles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment.
• Basic experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% accountability of IT assets in storage and warehouses.
• Use the centralized asset management system (ServiceNow ITRMS) for data accuracy and reporting.
• Improve efficiency in identifying asset needs, surpluses, and discrepancies.
• Ensure all asset records (receiving, transfers, excess) are accurately documented.
• Receive and inspect incoming IT assets for accuracy, damage, and compliance with orders.
• Maintain asset records and SOPs for IT asset tracking and inventory.
• Ensure proper environmental security and storage in line with Air Force regulations.
• Provide inventory management and accountability, and support audits.
• Coordinate warranty services and vendor repairs/replacements.
