Job summary

Indyne Corporation is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide frontline IT help desk support for end users at Eglin AFB, FL. You will install, configure, and maintain Windows endpoints, manage user accounts, and monitor security appliances.

The role requires CompTIA Security+ within 60 days, 2+ years of experience, and DoD-unique knowledge. You will operate onsite, collaborate with a team, and contribute to patch testing and end-user training, while adhering to security policies.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience providing help desk support.
• CompTIA Security+ certification within 60 days.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Must be able to read and interpret information and communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
• DoD Information Assurance experience a plus; DoD security clearance eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user technical support via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components.
• Perform routine patching and system configuration changes.
• Assist in monitoring security appliances and anti-virus management.
• Create new user accounts and train users on USAF computer systems.
• Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Work in a team environment and follow DoD procedures.
