Job summary

I2X Technologies seeks a Network Administrator for an on-site role at Eglin AFB, FL. The candidate will support LAN/WAN, monitor networks with SolarWinds, and ensure DoD compliance. Requirements include TS/SCI clearance, IAT II, and 5–9 years of experience in DoD networks and Cisco/Juniper devices.

The position emphasizes configuration of routers, switches and firewalls, DoD-style security, and close interaction with customers to meet regulatory requirements. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in a related field is desired.
• Knowledgeable in Virtualization and STIG'ing.
• 5-9 years of experience required.
• Experience using SolarWinds to monitor and troubleshoot network issues.
• Current IAT Level II Certification required.
• Experience supporting computer systems, networks and servers up to the TS/SCI level (JWICS).
• Experience installing and configuring routers, switches, hubs, firewalls and other network devices.
• Be able to access and configure Cisco IOS.
• Experience with Juniper devices.
• TS/SCI Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and Internet systems or segments.
• Monitor network availability and perform maintenance for uptime.
• Coordinate between network and data communications hardware and software.
• Supervise network support specialists as needed.
• Maintain a library of system images for rapid builds.
• Provide network administration services per DoD regulations.
• Interface with customers to address IT issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Submit and track CSRDs with customers and align with processes for hardware/software installation.
