Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services LLC seeks an IT Logistics and Software Asset Management Specialist to support PCTE-OG, focusing on hardware/software lifecycle, licensing, procurement, and inventory control in cyber range environments.

The ideal candidate has DoD logistics experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and can coordinate across technical and government teams with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of logistics experience supporting a DoD program.
• 3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in a military/DoD environment.
• Strong proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with IT asset management, hardware/software accountability, inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software requests: initiation, procurement, delivery, accountability.
• Administer software license agreements; track usage to ensure compliance.
• Drive IT purchasing and procurement; coordinate with vendors.
• Develop and maintain technical logistics docs, dashboards, and metrics.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve complex logistics, licensing, and asset issues.
• Perform additional property accountability and IT logistics duties as required.
