Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services LLC is seeking an experienced IT Logistics and Software Asset Management Specialist to support PCTE-OG. This role focuses on IT asset management, procurement, licensing, and inventory accountability within cyber range environments.

The ideal candidate has DoD logistics experience, strong vendor coordination, and the ability to work with technical and government stakeholders with limited supervision. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of logistics experience supporting a military or DoD program.
• 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, or acquisition support within a military or DoD environment.

Responsibilities

• IT Asset & Lifecycle Management: Manage end-to-end hardware/software requests from initiation to procurement, delivery, and accountability.
• Software Licensing & Compliance: Administer software license agreements and track usage for compliance.
• Procurement & Vendor Management: Drive IT purchasing, develop cost estimates, and coordinate with vendors.
• Documentation & Reporting: Develop technical logistics docs, dashboards, and metrics.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Problem Solving: Provide admin/technical support and resolve logistics/licensing issues across teams.
• General Support: Perform additional property accountability and IT logistics duties as required.
