Qualifications

5+ years of experience in network engineering, systems engineering, or IT.
Active Secret clearance required.
Active CCNA certification.
Active IAT Level II certification.
Hands-on Cisco enterprise networking experience with IOS/IOS-XE, L2/L3 switching, and routing.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and validate Cisco network configurations for complex WAN/BAN environments.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco IOS/IOS-XE L2/L3 networking, including VLANs, trunking, STP, EtherChannel, inter-VLAN routing.
Apply knowledge of IPv4 addressing, subnetting, routing (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP), ACLs, and redundancy.
Analyze network changes for impact beyond templates; document configurations and baselines.
Perform configuration validation and peer reviews to ensure readiness for implementation.
Collaborate with engineering, SRE, development, and automation teams to improve reliability and standardization.
