Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Specialist to join a large DoD program in San Diego, CA. The role involves testing, installing, configuring, and supporting LAN/WAN and Internet systems, ensuring network availability and performing proactive maintenance.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience (or equivalent), experience with Cisco routers/switches, and the ability to obtain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree and 6 years of experience or equivalent.
Experience with Cisco networking equipment (routers/switches).
Ability to obtain/maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
Experience with IPv6 and level 3 network protocols.

Responsibilities

Test and analyze network facilities on a routine basis.
Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN and Internet systems or segments.
Monitor network availability and perform maintenance as needed.
Troubleshoot network systems and performance issues.
