Job summary

Forge Group, LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to join cross-functional teams in a secure, cloud-based modernization environment for a DoD customer. You will develop requirements with Operations and Development teammates to support ongoing software development and delivery of solutions.

Therole requires 4+ years of BA experience in software/tech modernization, strong Agile skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders to refine and prioritize user stories within an Agile backlog.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst supporting software development and/or technology modernization.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Experience using collaboration tools in the workplace to develop new work products efficiently.
• Experience working within Agile Development Teams.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to undergo background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Define and document requirements as User Stories for an Agile development team.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows using technology.
• Assist in managing the Agile Team backlog and prioritize user stories and tasks.
• Communicate updates to program leadership and track progress against milestones.
• Create designs describing system modules and verify with developers and SMEs.
• Develop, test, document, deploy, and monitor applications and databases per design.
