Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking an Agile Business Analyst to support Air Force IT modernization efforts in Beavercreek, Ohio. You will translate mission and business needs into configured, tested, and documented system solutions, serving as a liaison between technical teams and leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Business, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Three or more years of experience applying business analysis principles.
Experience with BPM, workflow optimization, and requirements analysis.
Familiarity with Agile and SDLC, including Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Visio and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Solicit, analyze, and document business requirements and workflows from stakeholders.
Develop and maintain business process models to optimize operations.
Map current-state and future-state processes using Visio; produce as-is and to-be use cases.
Engage with clients to drive alignment and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and incremental delivery within an Agile framework.
Prepare programmatic documents, user guides, and training materials; support organizational change.
