Job summary

OMW Consulting seeks a software engineer to own end-to-end deployment and sustainment of mission-critical software in government and DoD environments. Translate operator needs into production-grade backend solutions, build pilots, and serve as the primary technical contact for mission teams.

You will coordinate with product, design, and platform engineering, have 4–6 years of relevant experience, and bring strong backend fundamentals with Python preferred. Travel 20–30% is required.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 to 6 years of software engineering, solutions architecture, or forward-deployed experience in government or DoD settings, with full-stack experience and strong backend fundamentals; Python is preferred.
• Needs an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and experience deploying software in government IT environments.
• Willingness to travel 20 to 30%.
