Job summary

PMAT Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to production software development and sustainment in a DoD-focused environment. This role supports a complex system, ensures availability, and coordinates integrations while delivering technical briefings to stakeholders.

You will work with an experienced team to maintain and improve advanced software capabilities, with a preference for candidates in the Washington, DC area and eligible for an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Software Engineer.
• Experience in Linux environments and software development.
• Ability to work in secure government environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and sustain production software in a complex technical environment.
• Support system availability, testing, evaluation, and defect tracking.
• Coordinate system integration activities and provide technical briefings.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
• Deliver demonstrations and briefings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with users to identify issues and enhancements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, CSE
