Job summary

Omni Federal, a DoD-focused software solutions provider, seeks a Front End Software Developer to support a hybrid role in St. Louis, MO.

You will design and deliver Angular-based web apps, build Python geospatial capabilities, and collaborate within Agile teams on mission-critical systems for government clients. You will work with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift), while maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• 2-5 years of software development experience.
• Experience with design, development, and delivery of full-stack Angular web applications.
• Experience with Python for processing geospatial data.
• Experience with Agile practices and methods.
• Experience with AWS technologies such as Lambda, SQS, ECS, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like GitLab, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and containerizing applications.
• Familiarity with Peer Review processes, Unit Testing, System Level Regression Testing, and documenting results.
• Ability to work independently while pairing with other developers when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular.
• Develop Python-based capabilities for geospatial data processing.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver mission-focused software solutions.
• Participate in Agile development activities and iterative improvements.
• Leverage AWS services to support functionality and infrastructure.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and container deployments with GitLab, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Participate in peer code reviews and implement unit and regression testing.
• Document testing results and software changes.
• Work independently and pair with others to troubleshoot issues.
