Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks an AI/ML Subject Matter Expert to support a DoD program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The role focuses on evaluating, validating, and reporting on AI/ML capabilities with IV&V activities and rigorous model performance analysis.

You will work with DoD researchers and industry partners to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, guiding mission-relevant AI solutions and advancing safety and robustness.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years experience OR Master's with 6+ years OR PhD in a related quantitative field.
Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, machine learning theory, and data science.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with R&D teams across the project lifecycle from concept to deployment.
Evaluate AI/ML models, architectures, and products using rigorous methodologies.
Conduct IV&V of AI-enabled systems and assess performance, reliability, robustness, and explainability.
Generate technical reports and recommendations on model effectiveness and risks.
Engage with CRADAs and external partners for feedback on AI/ML products.
