Job summary

Arize AI is seeking a Documentation Engineer within our Developer Relations team to own and evolve the product documentation for Arize AX and Arize Phoenix. You’ll ensure accuracy as products change, expand guides, and make docs accessible to both developers and agents.

This remote-first role emphasizes docs-as-code workflows, AI-driven automation, and excellent communication. Occasional in-person events may be required in SF Bay Area or NYC, with a monthly WFH stipend.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical writing, documentation engineering, developer relations, or an engineering role with writing.
• Excellent technical communication demonstrated by public-facing docs, blog posts, or videos.

Responsibilities

• Own the health of Arize's product documentation and rewrite parts that no longer make sense.
• Build automated systems to monitor documentation quality and drift between docs and code.
• Make documentation usable for both humans and coding agents with structured content and machine-readable indexes.
• Write and refresh tutorials, cookbooks, and open-source demonstrations for developers from introduction to value.
• Get Arize documented outside our own site by working with partners and course authors.
• Create a stellar onboarding experience for new users so they reach a working eval unassisted.
