Job summary

Arize AI in the SF Bay Area and beyond seeks a developer relations documentation specialist to own and improve our product documentation, ensuring accuracy as the code and products evolve.

You will build AI-assisted tooling, craft tutorials and cookbooks, collaborate with partners and course creators, and help onboard users with clear, actionable docs. Remote-first, with occasional in-person events; salary ranges from $100,000 to $175,000 plus equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical writing, documentation engineering, developer relations, or an engineering role with heavy writing.
• Excellent technical communication skills with public-facing docs, blog posts, or videos.
• Up-to-date engineering skills; docs-as-code workflows, CI and repo familiarity.
• Working knowledge of LLM-based app development (agents, RAG, orchestration).
• Genuine interest in how agents read docs and in building tooling that makes it work.
• Curious, self-motivated learner; comfortable with startup ambiguity.
• Willing to attend occasional in-person events locally or nearby.

Responsibilities

• Own the health of Arize's product documentation; keep it accurate as we ship.
• Build automated systems that monitor documentation quality and drift between docs and code.
• Make our docs usable for both coding agents and humans: structured content and machine-readable indexes.
• Write and refresh tutorials, cookbooks and open-source demonstration repositories.
• Get Arize documented accurately outside our site with partners, framework maintainers and courses.
• Collaborate with Product to prototype spikes for new features and directions.
