Job summary

Pediatric Home Service is seeking a full-time Supporting Documentation Specialist to join our customer service team. You will handle in-person, email, and phone conversations to obtain documentation, authorizations, and physician orders, while ensuring accurate data entry and HIPAA compliance.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with a close-knit team dedicated to serving medically complex children and their families, maintaining patient status information and collaborating with clinics as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with Brightree EHR is a plus.
• DME intake/admissions experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain supporting documentation for products and services.
• Obtain prior authorizations required by insurance.
• Obtain physician orders for products and services.
• Maintain patient status information and EHR records.
• Collaborate with clinics to gather information.
• On-call duties may be required.
• Adhere to HIPAA and PHS requirements.
