The Documentation Department is responsible for the safekeeping and accuracy of mortgage loan documents. A Documentation Acquisition Coordinator analyzes information, identifies potential risks, and documents findings for the Documentation Acquisition team.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting an in-depth review of mortgage loan documents to identify potential risks/issues.
  • Reviewing reports and information from third parties to identify potential risks/issues.
  • Preparing accurate reports and supporting documentation that clearly identify results, risk ratings, and due diligence recommendations.
  • Monitoring onboarding activity to ensure mortgage loans are properly transferred to MidFirst.
  • Preparing reports and documentation confirming proper loan transfers post-transfer.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with third parties such as attorneys, title companies, and other mortgage servicers.
  • Supporting colleagues by researching issues and responding with detailed explanations and solutions.
  • Assisting with projects and other relevant duties as required.

Position Requirements:

This role requires 1-3 years of experience in reviewing complex documents, with preference given to those with backgrounds in title review, mortgage servicing, quality control, auditing, or real estate.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong MS Word and Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to convey information clearly, provide direction, and motivate others to resolve issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Effective time management skills and meeting deadlines
  • Proactive attitude and sound judgment

Note: This position is on-site at our corporate campus in north Oklahoma City; residency in this area is required.
