Job summary

Metasys Technologies/NVISH in Houston, TX is seeking a Document Scanning Specialist for a 12-month temp-to-hire assignment. The role requires onsite work, Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm, and successful background check and drug test.

You will prepare, scan, inspect, assemble, and bind documents to meet accuracy and production standards while collaborating with the team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for overtime and shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic PC and typing skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain positive relationships.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and remain flexible.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks continuously while maintaining quality.
• Ability to stand on feet for at least 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare paperwork for scanning by removing staples and items that may hinder scanning.
• Scan documents accurately using Kodak scanners and perform quality checks.
• Process mail by scanning barcodes and handling documents per procedures.
• Compile, assemble, and bind documents according to customer specs.
• Complete orders accurately, timely and error-free while meeting standards.
• Meet production standards and IPH/TPH metrics.
• Maintain machine and workstation efficiency and report issues to management.
• Work with coworkers and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Be prepared for multiple shifts including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays.
