About the Company:

Our client furnishes mortgage lenders with the peace of mind that comes from having provided timely, accurate, and compliant closing documents in more than 5 million residential loan transactions. This volume results from their focus on serving residential mortgage lenders since nearly half a century ago.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a Document Preparation Specialist to join our client’s talented team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of mortgage-related documents across various loan types, including VA, FHA, Conventional, and Texas-specific loans. This position is remote.

What You'll Do:

1. Review, prepare, and audit mortgage loan closing documents with precision, especially focusing on Texas mortgage law.
2. Provide guidance to clients and team members regarding loan documents and closing instructions for different lenders.
3. Navigate various loan types, including VA, FHA, Conventional, Manufactured Housing, etc.
4. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure document accuracy.

What You Bring:

1. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
2. Experience in mortgage document preparation or related fields, with knowledge of Texas mortgage laws.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
4. Familiarity with Loan Operating Systems, preferably IDS.
5. Experience reviewing title commitments and surveys.
6. TRID and Construction experience is a plus.
