Join our Client’s Team as a Document Preparation Specialist!

About the Company:

Our client furnishes mortgage lenders with the peace of mind that comes from having provided timely, accurate, and compliant closing documents in more than 5 million residential loan transactions. This volume results from our client’s focus on serving residential mortgage lenders since its founding nearly half a century ago.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking part-time Mortgage Document Preparation Specialists to join our client’s team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of mortgage-related documents, including VA, FHA, Conventional, and Texas-specific loans. The position is remote, 30 hours per week, with shifts available from 1 PM - 7 PM or 2 PM - 8 PM (Monday-Friday, Central Time).

What You'll Do:

1. Review, prepare, and audit mortgage loan closing documents with accuracy, focusing on Texas mortgage law.
2. Provide guidance to clients and team members on loan documents and closing instructions.
3. Navigate various loan types, including VA, FHA, Conventional, Manufactured Housing, etc.
4. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

What You Bring:

• Attention to detail and commitment to precision.
• Experience in mortgage document preparation or related fields, with knowledge of Texas mortgage laws.
• Familiarity with Loan Operating Systems, preferably IDS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience reviewing title commitments and surveys.
• TRID and Construction experience is a plus.
