About the Company:

Our client furnishes mortgage lenders with the peace of mind that comes from having provided timely, accurate, and compliant closing documents in more than 5 million residential loan transactions. This volume results from their focus on serving residential mortgage lenders since their founding nearly half a century ago.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a Mortgage Document Preparation Specialist to join our client’s talented team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of mortgage-related documents across various loan types, including VA, FHA, Conventional, and Texas-specific loans. This position is remote.

What You'll Do:

• Review, prepare, and audit mortgage loan closing documents with precision, especially focusing on Texas mortgage law.
• Provide guidance to clients and team members on loan documents and closing instructions for various lenders.
• Navigate a variety of loan types, including VA, FHA, Conventional, Manufactured Housing, and more.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure documents meet all requirements.

What You Bring:

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience in mortgage document preparation or related fields, with knowledge of Texas mortgage laws.
• Familiarity with Loan Operating Systems, preferably IDS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience reviewing title commitments and surveys.
• TRID and Construction experience is a plus.
