Summary

Document Management Analyst will support the Health and Human Services (HHS), Office for Civil Rights (OCR) as an integral contributor to the success and performance of OCR and further OCR’s mission through various mission support activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provides general administrative support to OCR.
  • Conducts administrative tasks associated with intake for complaints received via mail, fax, or email, including assisting with printing and mailing OCR complaint packages and closure letters.
  • Conducts routine office functions with minimal direction and has experience with a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Participates in the receipt and triage of new complaints ensuring all applicable policies and rules are followed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain a customer clearance for access to facilities, equipment, and property.
  • Minimum educational experience: Associate’s degree from an accredited college/university or specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level or higher in the Federal Government.
Physical Demands

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers, printers, and light traffic.

Benefits are eligible on the first day of hire to full-time employees.

Salary

The estimated pay range for this role is $21 to $23 per hour, with the final offer contingent on location, skill set, and experience.
