Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Document Controls Engineer to manage project documentation, workflows, and information systems for large-scale hyperscale data center projects.

The role emphasizes accuracy, control of revisions, and collaboration across owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. You will support early site development through turnover, implement document-management processes, and monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years in document control or project controls.
• Experience with large-scale civil, data center, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing drawings, RFIs, submittals, turnover docs.
• Proficiency with document-management platforms.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to long-term site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Manage project document-control systems and reporting.
• Coordinate review, distribution, retention of docs.
• Maintain drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, turnovers.
• Ensure current revisions are used across disciplines.
• Support turnover packages and asset documentation.
• Monitor KPIs and information-management processes.
