Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Document Controls Engineer to manage project documentation and information systems for hyperscale data center projects.

You will oversee workflows, maintain drawings and RFIs, and ensure records meet contractual requirements and quality standards. You will serve as a critical link among project management, engineering, procurement, quality, and operations, ensuring data integrity and accessibility throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in construction/engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of document control or project controls experience.
• Experience managing drawings, RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and project records.

Responsibilities

• Manage document control systems, workflows, and reporting.
• Coordinate review, distribution, tracking, and retention of project documentation.
• Maintain drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and meeting minutes.
• Support teams with timely access to accurate project information.
• Monitor workflows for compliance with requirements and quality standards.
• Support turnover, closeout, and documentation packages.
