Job summary

ABB Installation Products Caribe LLC in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, is seeking a document control clerk to maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, quality records, and engineering documents. You will ensure version control, approvals, and secure storage while supporting audits.

You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, HR, EHS, and Operations to align documentation with current processes and standards, and you will train staff on document control procedures and systems.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
• 2+ years in document control or quality data management in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/QMS systems (SAP, Oracle, SharePoint, Master Control).
• Strong Excel/Office skills and English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update controlled documents including SOPs and work instructions.
• Ensure version control, approvals, and secure storage of all controlled documents.
• Oversee the lifecycle of documents: creation, review, distribution, and archiving.
• Manage physical and digital filing systems for accuracy and access.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, HR, EHS, and Operations to align docs.
