Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of safe lifting and transporting procedures.
• Familiarity with loading techniques such as tight and cross loading.
• Ability to operate Dock Yard Management System and read shipping labels.
• Able to complete freight movement forms and use handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklifts or manual methods.
• Use loading techniques such as tight or cross loading.
• Move freight across service center and monitor locations with yard management software.
• Read shipping labels and complete necessary freight documents.
• Secure freight inside trailers using straps, airbags, and other securing gear.
• Work in a fast-paced environment meeting delivery schedules.
