Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of operations experience, preferably in transportation.
• Supervisory experience preferred; ability to lead a team.
• Working knowledge of AS400, Microsoft Office, DYMS and BLU systems.
• Knowledge of general DOT regulations; strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety of employees on a daily basis.
• Oversee safe loading/unloading processes and productivity during shift.
• Teach safe lifting techniques and ensure housekeeping standards.
• Supervise dock employees and manage schedules and staffing.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Provide feedback and drive continuous improvement in productivity and accuracy.
