Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Dock Supervisor to oversee daily freight operations, safety, and efficiency within our service centers. You will manage dock teams, utilize OD’s systems, and ensure performance aligns with company standards and customer expectations.

The role requires supervisory experience, knowledge of AS400/DYMS/BLU, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence in a nationally recognized LTL carrier.

Qualifications

• Supervisory role experience in ops or transportation.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to manage shifts, schedules and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and the loading/unloading process.
• Supervise dock employees and schedules to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Communicate with managers and team members to optimize operations.
