Job summary

Pro Trans International in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to coordinate the movement of materials across our Service Center Network.

In this full-time, on-site role, you will dispatch service requirements, act as liaison between dock operations and customers, maintain records, prepare shipping documents, and support outbound volume planning. You will also generate reports and ensure accurate labeling and documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.

• Familiarity with dock operations terminology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and dispatch service requirements from local pickups through deliveries.
• Liaise between dock operations and internal/external customers.
• Track data input and report information to customers.
• Prepare inbound and outbound documentation.
• Coordinate facility outbound volume with planning group.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform labeling, packing slip checks, and box handling as needed.
• Generate reports for dock coordinators with critical shipping information.
