The role emphasizes ensuring compliance with procedures, inventory accuracy, and efficient flow of materials, including forklift operations and safety adherence. High school diploma or GED with 2 years related experience is required, along with TMS software knowledge and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and write English; speaking Spanish and English may be required in some centers.
• Knowledge of TMS software is required.
• Pass ProTrans Forklift Performance Tests.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain inventory accuracy per procedures.
• Coordinate receipt and processing of all incoming freight; inspect for damage; maintain cycle counts and accuracy.
• Move trailers within the facility and conduct yard and dock checks.
• Prepare materials for shipment with correct paperwork and barcoding; match trailer numbers with loads.
• Ensure safety and health compliance; participate in safety planning and plant protection activities.
• Provide supervision support: interviewing, training, and directing work; give performance feedback.
• Organize OS&D quarantine area and ensure materials handlers have assignments and tools.
• Identify and implement continual improvement to enhance performance of position, team, and company.
