Job summary

ADM in Mt. Vernon, IN is seeking entry-level Transportation Specialist/Dock Worker to support river transportation operations. You will learn facility processes, assist in training, and perform tasks to improve efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role offers full-time hours, an 8-hour shift, overtime including weekends/holidays, and a pay rate of $21.63/hour. Training covers safety, food safety, quality, and environmental guidelines in a hands-on ADM program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in production and/or similar military environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare barge for cleaning and keep dock areas clean as part of fast-paced routines.
• Assist training new Dock Workers.
• Operate equipment for loadout/unloading of bulk materials (trucks/rail, forklifts, etc.).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow SOPs.
