Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma required and 2–5 years distribution experience.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• 2–5 years loader/checker experience and strong customer service skills.
• Clear communication with employees and carriers; respectful listening.
• Prior truck loading experience and familiarity with loading procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and facilitate workflow to maximize loading efficiency.
• Assist in solving loading obstacles, locating pallets, and trailer issues.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times and assist with weekly load audits.
• Ensure pallets are staged and matched to the correct trailers for loading.
• Aid in investigating missing or mishandled pallets with customer service.
• Assist in paperwork assembly and verify the correct trailer is used.
• Support loaders with trailer loading in proper sequence and weight distribution.
• Ensure outbound load leave times are met and communicate with shipping.
• Assist the shipping specialist with dock workflow management and audits.
