Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus.
• Experience in transportation or dispatching preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and driver hours of service.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Support the Dispatch Supervisor in planning and dispatching daily driver routes.
• Provide route assignments and updates to drivers in Spanish and English.
• Monitor drivers and adjust schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain records of routes, schedules, and delivery times.
• Review driver expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Assist in coordinating driver schedules to ensure coverage for all routes.
• Inform drivers promptly of schedule changes and route updates.
• Support supervising truck loading for accuracy, efficiency and safety.
• Ensure orders loaded per delivery schedules and customer specs.
• Provide general admin support to transportation department.
