Job summary

Ffe-Transportation-Services,-Inc. is seeking dockworkers to load and unload trailers in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will assist drivers, perform inventory counts, and maintain safe, organized dock areas.

Qualifications

• Proper loading in and out of trailers.
• Handle goods and equipment properly to avoid damage.
• Sort and label skids and place in proper locations.
• Perform inventory counts based on bills of lading and manifests.
• Assist drivers in loading/unloading goods or equipment.
• Inspect forklift daily for safe operation.
• Maintain clean, safe dock area.
• Stack goods neatly and safely.
• Submit reports and information timely.
• Display reliable attendance.
• Assist training for new staff.
• Load and secure shipments per procedures.
• Follow safe freight handling procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments as required.

• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain organized, clean dock area and keep records up to date.
• Complete inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Provide on-the-job training to new staff as needed.
• Ensure shipments are loaded securely and safely.
