Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Warehouse Lead for 1st shift in Forney, TX. The role ensures accuracy and timeliness of inbound/outbound shipments and leads the dock team. The position requires shipping experience, familiarity with Manhattan WMS, and Lean practices.

The shift runs 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with potential variation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be proficient with computers, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Shipping background required.
• Knowledge of Manhattan WMS.
• Lean tools knowledge (Kanban, VSM, pull systems).
• Legal work authorization in the United States – no sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily/weekly balancing of skilled labor across the shipping and/or receiving department.
• Oversee material handlers in achieving department and site performance objectives (safety, cost, service, quality, efficiency).
• Convey relevant information to Supervisors, Managers and other employees.
• Assist management by driving continuous improvement in the shipping department.
• Create written and oral instructions for the shipping area.
• Ensure understanding of company KPIs and take actions to meet them.
• Other duties/projects as assigned by Shipping Supervisor.
