Job summary

TW Metals, LLC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead to coordinate dock activities and ensure inbound receipts and outbound shipments are processed safely and on time.

The role includes leading daily operations, performing warehouse tasks, training staff, and acting as the escalation point for discrepancies while maintaining accurate WMS/ERP records and compliant packing/labeling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years warehouse experience with shipping/receiving responsibilities; lead experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of shipping documentation (packing lists, bills of lading) and inventory control.
• Experience using a WMS/ERP system to complete transactions.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and obtain PIT certification if required.
• Strong attention to detail and clear verbal/written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines safely.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily shipping and receiving workloads to meet service and quality targets.
• Perform core warehouse tasks to support volume demands (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, loading).
• Train and coach staff on standard work, documentation, and safe handling practices.
• Troubleshoot issues on shift and escalate as needed to resolve shortages, damages, or labeling errors.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and ensure proper labeling and documentation per SOPs.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and WMS/ERP transactions.
