Job summary

TW Metals, LLC is seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Lead to coordinate daily dock activities, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely inbound receipts and outbound shipments. The role involves assigning work, coaching staff, and maintaining shipping docs while supporting inventory accuracy in the WMS/ERP.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in warehouse shipping/receiving, prior lead experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with WMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience with shipping/receiving responsibilities; prior lead experience strongly preferred.
• Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) and/or ERP to complete inventory and shipment/receipt transactions.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift) and obtain/maintain certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily shipping and receiving workload to meet service, productivity, and quality goals.
• Perform core warehouse tasks (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, loading) as needed.
• Train and coach associates on standard work, system transactions, and documentation requirements.
• Serve as point of contact on shift to troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
• Support staff coverage and handoffs across shifts; communicate priorities to the supervisor.
• Oversee outbound shipments, verify item/lot/quantity accuracy, and prepare documentation.
