Job summary

ITS Logistics, LLC is seeking a Dock Coordinator for our Sparks, NV operation. The role focuses on delivering professional service, checking in drivers, verifying BOL information, and assigning loads to doors while coordinating with the warehouse to balance workload.

The candidate will update workload systems, print BOLs and documents, and assist the CSR team with daily tasks. Some inventory and yard checks are expected to support smooth operations.

About the Position

ITS has an immediate opening for a Dock Coordinator at our operation in Sparks, NV. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• To provide a professional level of service


• Check in drivers


• Verify all information on BOL’S are correct


• Assign loads to a door/break seal/secure load with a glade hand lock


• Communicate with the Warehouse to direct workload


• Update workload database for Warehouse


• Print BOL’S and receiving documents via Softeon


• Process daily inbound receipts and orders


• Communicate and assist the CSR team with daily workload


• Solving daily issues


• Walk the dock to see what inbound, outbound, and empty trailers we have and communicate to the necessary channels


• Multiple yard checks per day


• Some inventory control

About the Requirements

The successful Candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

• Excellent knowledge of grammar.


• Excellent verbal communication skills.


• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.


• Knowledgeof principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment and meeting quality standards for services


• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods


• Knowledge of business principles involved in resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.


• Repetitive motion involved daily may include, but not limited to, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting


• Basic Warehouse knowledge

Rate (DOE): 24.00
