Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort, Fort Lauderdale, invites applications for a Dock Attendant. You will warmly welcome guests, manage vessel ties, and provide on-site guest services across marina operations.

The role emphasizes safety, customer care, and responsiveness to guest needs, with opportunities to engage in hospitality excellence at CoralTree managed properties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate golf carts (golf cart operation).
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly at the marina and support check-in for guests.
• Assist with vessel ties and marina operations.
• Respond to guest needs and provide on-site customer service to guests, residents, and travelers.
• Answer questions about the property and local area attractions.
• Fuel vessels as PIC and manage spill cleanup as needed.
• Assist with pump-out services and marina safety patrols.
• Handle package deliveries and assist with arrivals/departures.
• Operate golf cart in tight areas and maintain radio contact with the office.
• Maintain ice inventory and assist with inventory control on the wharf.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We currently have an opportunity for a Dock Attendant to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team!

Responsibilities

• Guest-facing position that provides a warm welcome to guests
• Ties up vessels upon arrival to the marina
• Checks guests in to the marina and responds to guest needs during their stay
• Provides onsite customer service for residence, club members, transient marina guests, and hotel guests
• Answers guests’ questions about the property or surrounding area attractions
• Fuels vessels acting as PIC; contains and cleans up any fuel spills that occur during fueling
• Attends annual fuel training
• Accepts packages or arranges deliveries to marina guests
• Drives golf cart in tight areas
• Provides pump-out to guests in the marina
• Patrols the docks, maintains safety standards, and stays in radio contact with the office
• Cast off lines for departing boats and notify the office of departure
• Maintain and control ice inventory on each wharf, sell ice to customers, and notify the office when supply is low
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to operate golf carts
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license
• Must have the ability to communicate in English effectively

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to work in hot, muggy, and inclement weather conditions on a continuous basis
• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above
