Job summary

DNA Diagnostics Center in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Lab Accessioner to ensure accurate intake, processing, and management of DNA testing cases. This role emphasizes strict chain-of-custody, precise data entry, and timely case completion within the LIS.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years of data entry experience, strong typing skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment. Join a facility operating under Eurofins with extensive lab responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years data entry experience preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Ability to prioritize workload in a high-volume environment.
• Computer literacy and typing skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify incoming sample packages, ensuring chain of custody and package integrity.
• Accurately input and audit patient and contract information into the LIS.
• Manage case assignments, track progress, and determine case resolution and closure.
• Identify complete and partial cases, following procedures for processing.
• Prepare and send final reports, chain-of-custody documents, and affidavits timely.
• Input partial billing information.
• Coordinate and provide timely, effective, and client-centered service.
• Meet or exceed productivity targets and ensure timely case processing and resolution.
• Prepare affidavits and notarize case documents as required.
• Collaborate with Laboratory Operations and Customer Service to facilitate resolution.
• Attend trainings to stay updated on policies and procedures.
• Support DNA kit assembly and shipping duties as needed.
