Job summary

DNA Diagnostics Center, based in Fairfield, OH, is seeking a Specimen Accessioner to ensure accurate intake, processing, and management of DNA testing cases in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

You will input patient and contract data into LIS, verify chain-of-custody, and support case resolution while maintaining data quality and confidentiality. This full-time role offers benefits and standard hours M-F.

Qualifications

• Data entry experience preferred (1–2 years).
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to prioritize and meet production goals in a high-volume lab.
• Typing speed and MS Office proficiency are required.
• Knowledge of chain-of-custody protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify incoming sample packages with chain of custody.
• Input and audit patient and contract data into LIS.
• Track case progress and assist in case resolution and closure.
• Prepare final reports and affidavits as needed.
• Collaborate with Laboratory Operations and Customer Service.
